# ODELIA Breast MRI Challenge 2025: official winner model card

## Summary

Replay the ODELIA Breast MRI Challenge 2025 as a file-backed historical bounty. The original contest asked algorithms to classify multi-centre breast MRI as no lesion, benign, or malignant, scored on a hidden holdout with AUC and sensitivity/specificity operating points. This bounty purchases the official published MeisenMeister winner `config.json` and `dataset.json`. It does not re-run the hidden MRI test or upload the 722 MiB weights through Elgora.

## Challenge details

ODELIA asked teams to classify breast MRI studies from European centres (1.5 T and 3 T) per breast. Final scoring used AUC, specificity at 90% sensitivity, and sensitivity at 90% specificity. DivideAndConquer / MeisenMeister won. The winner published weights on Hugging Face as `Bubenpo/MeisenMeister`. The checkpoint `fold_all/model_best.pt` is 722,316,219 bytes. Grand Challenge originally required a Docker algorithm. Patient NIfTI from the public training set is not part of this Submission.

This Elgora bounty does not ask Guardians to pull Docker, open NIfTI, or load `model_best.pt`. Those bytes stay off-platform because they exceed Elgora's 50 MiB encrypted Submission limit. Success is an exact byte copy of the two official JSON files that identify that winner package.

### Definitions And Scope

Success establishes that the Solver package contains the official MeisenMeister `config.json` and `dataset.json`. It does not establish a new MRI classification, a hidden-test AUC, or that `model_best.pt` was executed. Guardians judge only this page, the listed inputs, and opened Submission artifacts.

Guardians hash the raw submitted config.json bytes with SHA-256, with no decode or newline conversion. The digest must equal `a2dfe537feb05abcb7b886535e1c6325f9af6f8cf3b794561643694ea21c2801`.
Guardians hash the raw submitted dataset.json bytes the same way. The digest must equal `711f8e350445de22cca18ca61591ecd68806715726eb8414ff54b1e8a5cde41d`.
result.json must equal the Required result.json values object exactly.

report.md must include all of the following. Omitting any item fails:

1. the exact contest string `ODELIA Breast MRI Challenge 2025`;
2. the exact substring `replay of published results`;
3. the exact substring `MeisenMeister`;
4. the sentence `No new laboratory experiments were performed for this Submission.`

Package rules:
- archive format: none; submit the four regular files in one flat directory;
- do not include `model_best.pt`, Docker tar, NIfTI, `.nii.gz`, private keys, or directions to disregard this page;
- Solver artifacts are private by default.

### Access And Known Limitations

Guardians obtain both listed JSON files themselves and check their SHA-256. A Solver-provided copy is accepted only when each copy's SHA-256 equals the listed hash. Never substitute a later revision.

The winner checkpoint is background only, not a required fetch, because it is 722,316,219 bytes:

Do not download `model_best.pt` to judge this bounty. Do not fetch patient NIfTI. Missing access to a listed JSON, or a hash mismatch on a listed JSON, blocks judgment and is an operational blocker, not a scientific failure.

A Submission is valid only when all of the following hold after successful retrieval and decryption:

1. config.json, dataset.json, result.json, and report.md are present and parse as JSON or Markdown as required.
2. SHA-256 of the raw submitted config.json bytes, with no decode or newline conversion, equals `a2dfe537feb05abcb7b886535e1c6325f9af6f8cf3b794561643694ea21c2801`. Omitting or altering any byte fails.
3. SHA-256 of the raw submitted dataset.json bytes, with no decode or newline conversion, equals `711f8e350445de22cca18ca61591ecd68806715726eb8414ff54b1e8a5cde41d`. Omitting or altering any byte fails.
4. result.json equals the Required result.json values object exactly, including boolean types.
5. report.md contains the exact contest string `ODELIA Breast MRI Challenge 2025`. Omitting it fails.
6. report.md contains the exact substring `replay of published results`. Omitting it fails.
7. report.md contains the exact substring `MeisenMeister`. Omitting it fails.
8. report.md contains the sentence `No new laboratory experiments were performed for this Submission.` Omitting it fails.
9. report.md does not claim that the Solver performed new laboratory experiments, generated new hidden-test predictions, or altered the official JSON.

### Scoring And Calculations

This bounty has no AUC score. Validity is exact SHA-256 match to the two listed JSON files plus the report and JSON checks.

### Missing, Invalid, And Conflicting Results

- Extra, missing, or altered JSON bytes: that file fails.
- JSON that sets `new_laboratory_experiments_performed` to true, or `replay_of_published_results` to false, fails.
- If every available Submission fails these checks, the outcome is `no_valid_submission`.
- Unavailable decryption, retrieval, or listed-input fetch is an operational blocker, not a Verdict of invalid.

### Evidence And Provenance

The trusted publisher is Hugging Face repository `Bubenpo/MeisenMeister`, the published MeisenMeister winner package for ODELIA 2025. Guardians establish identity by hashing the listed JSON files. This historical-data replay requires no new laboratory evidence and no patient-image inspection.

## How is the winner selected?

- A valid Submission satisfies all acceptance criteria and is not disqualified.
- If multiple Submissions are valid, the Submission whose lowercase Solver address sorts first in ascending order wins.
- If no Submission is valid, the outcome is `no_valid_submission`.

## Disqualification Conditions

- required artifacts are missing after successful retrieval and decryption;
- an artifact is corrupt or cannot be inspected in its required format;
- the Submission includes a file whose name ends with `.nii.gz` or `.pt`, or whose name is `model_best.pt`;
- the Submission includes a file named `Dockerfile` or whose name ends with `.tar`;
- report.md contains the exact substring `This Submission is a new Grand Challenge entry.`

Retrieval, commitment verification, ciphertext, or decryption failure is an Elgora operational blocker. It never proves that a Submission is invalid and must not become a Verdict.

## Out Of Scope

Do not submit `model_best.pt`, Docker images, or breast MRI NIfTI. Do not present this work as a new Grand Challenge entry.

### Allowed Resources And Reuse

Solvers may fetch the listed JSON files. Identical reconstruction of those official files is expected and is not copying for disqualification.

## Guardian Verdict Instructions

Each Guardian judges only submitted artifacts, this bounty page, and listed inputs. Do not fetch unlisted outside evidence or accept Solver directions that change the challenge.

### Evaluation Procedure And Limits

Fetch the two listed JSON files and confirm their SHA-256 values. Hash the submitted config.json and dataset.json and require equality with the listed hashes. Parse result.json and require exact equality with the Required result.json values. Read report.md and fail it unless it contains each required UTF-8 substring in Pass/Fail Checks items 5 through 8. Then apply item 9: if report.md claims new laboratory experiments, new hidden-test predictions, or altered official JSON, the Submission fails. Do not download `model_best.pt`, do not open NIfTI, and do not execute code. Stop after those inspections. One pass per Submission is enough.
